Wood has been refinished to reveal beautiful wood grain. Original pick up has been rewound. Original decal All new electrics New sturdier pick up surround New hofner bridge and tailpiece though I have originals. No dings - though small neat hole where pick guard was attached (see last photo) Fitted with flat wound strings New Hofner tuners filled and fitted by luthier (see. 1963 Hofner Senator Brunette -This stunning vintage Hofner Senator guitar is all original, including the machine heads, and in fantastic condition especially considering it's age.
There are some cosmetic scrapes and chips, a some light cracking in the lacquer, but this is to as to be expected for a guitar that's been played and gigged for nearly 60, but structurally the guitar is sound and very comfortable to play. The only notable comments are the original pick guard is missing and the neck.
